needed some help....

Sail Date: August 07, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

The cruise felt like we were stepping into the middle of a training session. Crew members were nice, but very clueless as to what was going on aboard the ship. Not very good service at all. The food was only average.

Pros: getting to see all the islands and being able to get off the boat. The freedom to plan our cruise how/what we wanted to do. Bartenders were very nice and were the only reason the cruise was bareable

Cons: The fact that most of the crew had no idea what was going on. Extremely unorganized. Hated the freestyle cruiseing.

Food and Dining
in the main dinning rooms the food was always late coming out and very cold, tasted like it was microwaved. Servers were terrible, not very helpful at all
Cabin / Stateroom
WE DID NOT GET ROOM/MAID SERVICE THE FIRST THREE DAYS!!!! we had to continually keep calling reception(who was not helpful at all) to have someone sent up to even bring us new towels
Ship Quality
Ship itself was very nice and well kept. could have been more 'livliness' aborad the ship
Service and Staff
For the most part they were friendly-but not too helpful. On more the one occasion we asked to speak with a crew members supervisor and they did not know who their supervisor was.
Entertainment
Activities were given a good effort-still need some help
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Very cute little hawaiian village. Nice hawaiian feeling
Kahului, Maui
Everything was so far from the port-tour buses were boring
