The ship was great!

Sail Date: February 05, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship and its employees were spectacular! Seemed so much easier than flying and switching hotels every time you want to island hop.

Pros: The rooms were kept real nice by the room steward.

Cons: Hard to get into restaurants if you didn't make reservations

Recommends Pride of Hawaii (RETIRED)? Yes!

Entertainment
Good entertaining shows
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
My only complaint was not being told how to properly make reservations. By the end of the trip most of the restaurants were booked, but the buffet is always a good alternative, good selection and the food was always different.
Hilo, Hawaii
Volcano park is spectacular! I'd recommend the more diverse tour if you don't mind some walking. The most popular tour had way too many people and buses.
Don't Miss: Volcano park
Nawiliwili, Kauai

Don't Miss: Wild chickens!
Kahului, Maui
I'd recommend a car rental to drive the road to Hana, but beware it's long, narrow, and twisty (not for sea sick persons)
Don't Miss: Road to Hana and the ocean center
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
This part of the island was just so lush and gorgeous.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling
