Review summary

The Pride of America is a very clean and classy ship. Not as much to do on board as other ships, but the great itinerary is the focus. Entertainment and food was sub-par considering cost of the cruise, but the bar staff and overall service exceeded our expectations. Much improvement since our last time on POA. Overall, the good out weighs the bad, and I would still recommend this cruise for anybody wanting to see the best of Hawaii.

Never had meal on POA buffet or any restaurant on five POA cruises.

We loved the ship and itinerary. We had no problems with the food or service. We rented a car in almost every port and did our own sightseeing. In Kona we used a local company and had a great day (I don’t think they are in business any longer.)
