Would not do it again

Sail Date: July 01, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Pride of America would look better on the east coast with its historical influence and rich tapestry type decor. The food was poor in all of the dining rooms except for the specialty restaurants. In the main dining room the soup, bread and desserts were fine, but the salads and main courses were very inadequate. The bar drinks are overpriced as were the tour excursions. The cabins are incredibly small and the balcony furniture was old and uncomfortable. It was nice to see the volcano erupting at night and to go up the Napali Coast.

Pros: Helpful staff

Cons: Small cabin

Recommends Pride of America? No.
