A nice cruise

Sail Date: May 01, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

As an American sailing cruise ship, it could have been decorated more in the American states' themes in the halls of the different floors. Could have stayed in the ports later in the day and not waste as much time stalling time at sea.

Pros: Freestyle cruising

Cons: Many inaccessible areas for disabled passengers

Recommends Pride of America? No.

Could have had more variety for all types of passengers.
Ship Quality
As above, many areas were not easily assessible for handicapped individuals using either walkers or wheelchairs due to high thresholds or heavy doors.
Cabin / Stateroom
There were many problems with the toilets flushing that week. Room attendant should have been more attentive.
Food and Dining
It is great to be able to eat when and where you want and decide if you want to dress up or not. Food was good, but nothing extraordinary.
Service and Staff
They were nice, but nobody that week you could call exceptional.
