Review SummaryWe cruised the Hawaiin Islands this spring in may 2007,a 7 days cruise starting in Honolulu.
the cabins were fine but the noise made us feel like we live in the boiler room, eventhough we asked for a check nothing was done.
The fre style cruising, which allows you to dine in any of the 10 restaurants is not productive, you need to make reservation way ahead but id you a re party of less than 5 you can not make reservation and you are at the mercy of the crowd, waiting time between 1-3 hours is comon or you can eat at the buffet upstairs, which is not what you paid so much for.
The cleaning of the cabins is also a problem, if not asking the maid to empty the trash from the bathroom, it would never be done and once you ask you get a cold shoulder for the rest of your trip.
The shore excursions were nice but way overpirced like the Volcano National park in cost with NCL $49.00 and with Robert Hawaii $29.00 or the Best of Maui with NCL $95.00 and with Robert hawaii $49.00, also the helicpter rides were half price on the islands vs. NCL prices.
Food and Dining
Save on laundry by providing little desert forks and spoon at the desert station rather than the need to get a full napkin with silverware set.
Service and Staff
all the rooms including the dining rooms were freezing although everyone complained about it.
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: The Islands we visited
Cons: The Free Style cruising and the noise in the cabin
