Great Experience

Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first experience on a cruise. We had a wonderful time. My girls enjoyed the teen club. We weren't able to get into port a couple of days because of high winds. Slightly disappointing, but we found many other activities to do.

Pros: Freestyle Dining

Cons: cost to go into some of the restaurants

Recommends Pride of America? Yes!

Ship Quality
We thought the ship was very clean.
Food and Dining
The buffet food was always great. They could have had more bartenders and waitstaff available. Sometimes dirty tables in the buffet area.
Cabin / Stateroom
We enjoyed our balcony.
We thought there was a great variety of entertainment. My girls loved the teen center and activities. Enjoyed watching the games by the pool.
Service and Staff
The crew really made an effort to add other activities when we weren't able to get off the ship.
Children's Programs
The first day my 10 year old was not happy about going. She thought it was for babies. After the first night she was asking to go back. She really loved the staff.
