Free Style is not FREE

Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

Free Style is not Free from aggravation! Eat when you would like to, as long as there is no line. Some nights we had to over an 1 1/2 hours to get a table. Very poor service in the "included" restaurants. The wait staff has no need to provide good/Great service, tips are pooled. You get the same as the wait staff in the next station. So why work harder! Up graded restaurants are a lot nicer, but you pay for it, and you tip them separately, so guess what, they work harder / smarter for a tip. Poor food quality as well.

Pros: Getting Off the Boat

Cons: No work ethic, no need to work for you tip!

Recommends Pride of America? No.

Nice size rooms, again, service was lacking, we had three people in our room, and on more then one occasion we had to call to get extra towels ... two was not enough, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS BEFORE! And the room was DIRTY!
Service and Staff
The management staff just about admitted the problems, and were tired of dealing with the sub-par performance of the staff. Very hard to work with your hands tied.
