This is our second trip on the Pride of Aloha cruising the Hawaiian Islands. We boarded in Maui which is not the primary boarding location, Honolulu is. This time we brought our parents so the experience was very different then our first trip. The service we recieved specifically during excursion planning and dining was outstanding. When you travel with parents in their 70s and 80s you need the flexibility to make changes based on the needs of the moment. The excursion desk was fabulous at providing direction/recommendations and also helping us make adjustments on prescheduled excursions when necessary. We had 10 in our party and were provided a very valuable secret on our first night...make reservations if you have a party of 10 or more, even in the regular dining rooms. Request the same waitstaff everynight-again traveling with folks that need assistance, special diet needs, etc are served more effectively when your waitstaff know what they need.

Pros: Service, Dining experience

Cons: Boarding and Disembarking experience

Recommends Pride of Aloha? Yes!
