The Pride of Aloha is a great ship. The food was very good. The private reservation resturants are well worth the extra money. Lease a car and see everything on your own. If you've never been on any other cruises then you will not notice the American staff not being as well serving as other cruises.I would recommend this ship and cruise to any one who wants to see all of the Hawaii islands.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the "free style" dining. We tried all of the reservation resturants and they were excellent service and very good food.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There were numerous activites onboard and nightly entertainment although we are early to bed and early to rise. There was no casino, as Hawaii has a no gambling law.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
We saw our very shy cabin stewdard once. We had to run people down one day for toliet tissue. Our sink clogged up and it took 2 days to get it fixed. We had to walk to the pool side bar to get a drink on several occassions. The room service staff was quick and very friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean, plenty of room at the hot tubs and pools. We went at the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season and the decorations were breath taking.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We stayed in a balcony stateroom which is well worth the extra dollars. It's nice to have your morning coffee while enjoying the beauitful scenery in private.

Pros: Everything about Hawaii is great!

Cons: The American staff.

Recommends Pride of Aloha? Yes!
