wonderful trip despite chaois on ship

Sail Date: June 01, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

The ship was beautiful, and the decor attractive. It was easy to find your way around. It seemed understaffed and or overworked. Three hours to get your food in the main dining areas was every night. Slow service in the mornings, also.Public restrooms were always dirty and out of paper. Our bed was made everyday, but slow to get paper and kleenex. Had to ask for soap. Mints were only left a couple nights. Traveled with a group of 16 , and one couple said their bed was never made and never had mints on their pillow. Ship was dirty and I saw little vacuuming, anywhere. The ac was out, and some in our group never got it, some only occasionally. People were sleeping on the deck, public rooms, and hallways. We all managed to have a wonderful time, despite the conditions on the ship. We did our own tours, renting vans at each port.

Pros: the beautiful islands

Cons: the ship was total chaois

Recommends Pride of Aloha (RETIRED)? No.
