we loved it!

Sail Date: March 25, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

we loved the overall experience and plan on sending our kids next year!

Pros: Staff - A+!

Cons: BJ's/NCL didn't "keep it as a surprise" to my wife, as I instructed...Paul the opening-hype and pressure/negativity salesmanship...NCL destroyed our suitcase(but did provide another used one after we pressured them)...long waits in restaurants at dinnertimes.

Recommends Pride of Aloha (RETIRED) 435? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
great fresh fruits and menu selactions, but long unnecessary waits at restaurants.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
EVERYONE was greatly friendly and talkative - they MADE the cruise!
we wish there were quiet places outdoors on the boat - even by the pool...better quality music could have been in some areas...maybe a current movie in the theater...?
Nawiliwili, Kauai
kayak excursion was the best - guides were great...should have taken the copter ride, too.
Don't Miss: see above
Kahului, Maui
should have taken the Molokai Snorkel excursion...Hana was pretty much a waste of time, except for the cool sites on the way
Don't Miss: watching surkers at Paia and Hookipa Overlook
Hilo, Hawaii
walking around was great
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Don't Miss: easy snorkeling close to the market nearby
