Way to see the Hawaiian Islands!

Room Type: Oceanview

The Pride of Aloha is a beautiful ship. Watching whales breech and lava flow into the ocean from the deck of the ship was spectacular.
The crew was very friendly and helpful. Since the ship was in American waters, all of the staff members were US citizens or they had a visa.
We really liked the freestyle dining that didn't lock us into a specific time to eat or having to dress formally. My husband and I could choose whether to eat alone or have others join us at a table. The variety of food choices was extensive from "meat and potatoes" to exotic fish or Asian dishes. Of course, there was always fresh fuit.
There were many excursions to choose and the price was competitive. Our favorite was ziplining in Maui.

Pros: freestyle dining

Cons: inconsistant wait for food

Recommends Pride of Aloha (RETIRED)? Yes!
