Disaster on the Seas

Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

Unrealized potential for a great cruise. Stunned and humiliated passengers that were in disbelief at the poor quality and lack of service by the crew. We had close to twenty people in our party, stow-aways would have been treated better on another ship.

The staff and crew would have been better inmates at a federal facility than running a cruise ship.

Pros: Being off the ship

Cons: Being on the Ship

Recommends Pride of Aloha (RETIRED) 435? No.

Ship Quality
Cleanliness was not an issue, it was always dirty and unkept.
Food and Dining
If you like food that was cold and meals that lasted close to 4 hours then this is for you. The hamburgers were the best thing about the meals.
Service and Staff
Inner city types with attitudes would have been preferable to these people.
Cabin / Stateroom
No soap, no shampoo, no problem. We realized there was no top sheets on our beds, only this comforter thing that was looking rather sick.
Don't know, the meals lasted so long we were never able to go to anything, ever. The Hawaiian craft instructor was great. The necklaces were the highlight of the ship experience.
Children's Programs
Some of the people in our party said some very good things about the children's programs and staff.
