The cruise was nice, but the bed was very bad for my back. Woke up in pain each day & was forced to buy a heating pad to sleep with and take pain pills fpr relief.

Pros: 4 hot tubs

Cons: The BED, Woke up ever day with terrible back pain

Rent a car yourself and visit the National Volcano Park. Much, much cheaper than cruise tour (Very Expensive) and simple to do.
Kahului, Maui
Traffic very heavy (15 mph) on only road to West Coast snorkeling area, but worth the trip in own rental car. Snorkeling very easy to do on your own. No need to pay high cost of cruise ship excursion.
Nawiliwili, Kauai
Grand Canyon of the Pacific and overlook stop were very nice.
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Take local snorkeling tour shuttle trip from port to snorkeling beach for $5 per person each way and snorkel beautiful beach. Shuttle driver gives interesting historical highlights and suggestions which were very helpful.
