Ship: Paul Gauguin (RETIRED) Reviewed: 7 years ago
We had a wonderful time. Worthwhile to stay overnight in LA on the way to break-up the long flight from the east coast. It was a difficult trip home without the overnight. The post-cruise package in Tahiti at the Meridian was great. The food and service (and my first balcony) was exceptional on the ship. Loved having gratuities and wines included. I found there was a different attitude from the staff because of the all-inclusive policy. The prices in Tahiti (post-cruise) were unbelievably high, but the food in the restaurants was exceptional. Just loved the cruise. Would recommend it to anyone (adults - no children's program and my kids would have been bored). Small ships are certainly the best way to cruise if you like exceptional service and no crowds or hassles!!
