Review summary

We had fun even though We were supposed to get married in Jamaica but the cruise itinerary changed so we never got to go there, the cruise director Dennis said he would marry us on board as he felt bad so we were feeling optimistic but then we waited and waited and called and called and left messages but never heard back from him super disappointing and upsetting for us as we flew all the way fromNew Zealand. The places we did stop at blew my mind and the food and cleaning staff were beyond amazing!!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
At the start of the cruise the staff were so amazing and our room staff stayed amazing the entire cruise, on our second to last day the staff were told they no longer had jobs due to the corona virus, this changed the way the staff treated us, some staff yelled at us and a lot of them just gave up. I think that reflects more on the way Royal Caribbean handled the situation but it ruined the last two days of our cruise. Room stewards and the food service staff were absolutely fantastic and they tried their hardest to remain positive even though most of them were getting sent home.

Cabin / Stateroom

Really nice room, quite far from everything including the elevator but very clean and the balcony was fantastic

Ship tip

Do your research, be ready for your itinerary to change ( Royal Caribbean knew our itinerary had changed and didn’t inform us until after we had embarked, so we missed our own wedding even though they had known at least 12 hours beforehand ) eat lots of food!! And support the people of the places you stop at.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Absolutely beautiful but the “artisanal markets” were way too intense and I felt scared and pushed into buying things, the sad part is the people are just trying to survive but the come on too strong!!

Disembarkation

We got yelled at by staff and treated like cattle, it was quick and rather easy but the staff once we were off the ship were horrible.
