Review summary

I can't rave enough about the customer service on this ship. Our room attendant (Edwyn) took awesome care of us. The dining staff in the MDR worked their butts off and did it with a smile and laugh. The bartenders were all very friendly. Photographers had great patience.

Food and Dining

We couldn't find a decent breakfast anywhere. Bacon was greasy, eggs were either overcooked or undercooked... whether made to order or premade. Other meals were mostly good.

This is now the music hall and it could have been better. The journey tribute band wasn't that good but we're thinking it had more to do with the sound system or acoustics of the new rooms. (Also there was a bar up on deck 9 that they didn't open... at least three night we were there)

Fantastic service and food. Loved the beer options.

Service was great but the food was lacking. Breakfast was no good (omelet wasn't cooked and over medium eggs were easy overcooked... bacon wasvery greasy) and lunch wasn't any better. Glad we didn't pay for either. Milkshakes and fries were great though.

Aqua80 was amazing. We couldn't get enough of this show. We watched it in full twice...once from our boardwalk balcony.

The bed is near the closet and couch near the balcony door. It's a little harder to manage this setup but you get used to it. Everything you need is there and clean!

Ship tip

Have all your documents ready when getting to the terminal to embark.

We spent the day at Mr. Sancho's. It was super fun. Plenty of activites for everyone. We had a cabana and tables setup right beside it for when we ordered food. The service was great. Salvador was our helper for the day...he was very attentive and friendly. Taxi drivers to and from were safe and helpful. ($17US each way)

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

We rented a 2 person lounger for the day. Very relaxing, beautiful place. The food on the island was lacking in variety but was good. Our jet ski tour was canceled due to rough seas... safety first! Refund was on our account by the next morning.

Disembarkation

This can be a bit confusing for first timers. I heard many people not quite understanding the process. They really need to be more clear about putting luggage out the night before. We didn't run into any issues though. Took less than 10 minutes from when our number was called until we were on our shuttle.
