Review summary

Overall, we had a great time on a great ship with great staff and crew. Booked Liberty and Harmony for next year and can't wait!

Smoothest ever. Used the app and sped right through.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR every evening was good. We ate most breakfasts in the Solarium Bistro, which we enjoyed. Did not go to the Windjammer, but we did try El Loco Fresh and BBQ. Not impressed with the Mexican food. Pulled pork was nice and tender, but not really smoked to my liking and too sweet.

Main Dining Room

4 out of 5

Good food, great service. Rakesh, who we met last year, was awesome as before. Tugut and Gerald, our waitstaff for this cruise were great and eager to please.

Globe and Atlas Pub

4 out of 5

Great bartenders. Best Bloody Mary's on the ship.

Champagne Bar

Our favorite bar and it's gone! Always a great place to relax and have a drink before dinner. Martini classes each sea day were always our favorite activities. So much fun!

Boleros Lounge

Great bar. Good, friendly bartenders, great drinks. Too loud when the band is playing is the only minus.

Bionic Barยฎby Mark Shakr

If I could give this venue a minus, it would be too good for it.Horrible drinks, no bartenders to interact with. Not a place to sit and relax and enjoy. Biggest mistake ever.

Very good entertainment. Music, comedians, aqua show

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room steward was very good, as well as our MDR waiters, who were very quick to give us special treatment with our favorite bread selections and cold soup each night, which was not on the menu. Also, very good and friendly bartenders in Boleros, which became our new favorite since our first choice, Champagne Bar, was done away with

Ship Quality

We love Oasis. We were on it in October last year, so we are familiar with the before and after refurb. Great job except for the Robotic Bar. HUGE waste of $. A gimmick at best. Go see it once, throw away the drink and don't go back. Most of the time we saw people sitting in there playing games. No one drinking.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We always stay in a balcony room and it was consistent with others. Comfortable bed. My one change would be a chaise lounge on the balcony for sunning.

Ship tip

See all the shows, even if you don't think you would be interested. They are always top knotch.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

We only had the evening before, and did not do an excursion, but we did enjoy a nice meal.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Just walked around and ate lunch, but not really impressed. Did browse through the shops, but not a good experience due to vendors swarming on you and trying to get you trapped looking at their merchandise. Would not leave you alone to browse on your own.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

No excursion, just walked around and shopped a bit and ate lunch.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Again, just browsed the shops and ate lunch.

No issues there. Extremely smooth finding luggage and getting through customs. However, we did wish for the transfer of our luggage straight to the airport, as we have been able to do on a few previous cruises.
