Review summary

Wish the wheelchair I requested was in my room when I got there and it was very frustrating not to be able to take the chair off to the destinations. Also, I was promised by the person I booked the cruise with that there would be an anniversary "surprise" waiting for us when we got to our room and there was not. Also, we were told we would have a certain onboard credit of a certain dollar amount and it was much less. Overall, the crew was great and the ship was beautiful.

With the cruise line its a request. There are rental companies in arrival ports that can provide one or a scooter for a cost. They have been approved by the cruise lines and meet their dimension requirements, etc.

Most folks rent scooter on shore for week. You can get them at Park n Cruise

Unfortunately if it's travel agent obc than you do have to talk to the travel agent.

It pays to have your travel agents phone number with you. Always check your account on your TV for correct OBC before leaving port. It can be corrected.

We didn't get our amazing surprise either. And our on board credit was $50 last than was promised. Before we left Port I emailed my agent and the next day the 50 extra dollars was in my cabin

Damage, theft and general liability if you get injured in it while not on their property. Even the casino I work for will not allow it to leave our property as we are now liable for anything that happens while you are using it.

If you booked through Royal the obc quotes should have been in your documents, if it was a travel agent it should have also been in your documents that you sign. Royal is generally very good about making right on things like that if it was in writing and you brought your papers with you. As for the wheelchair, most cruise lines and even hotels will not allow it outside their property due to
