Inaugural Cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2009

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were lucky to be able to sail on the inaugural 4 day shakedown cruise before they started the regular 7 day cruises. Since this was the first time paying customers sailed on this ship, it was a big deal. Crowds of people lined the banks as we left and a fire fighting boat gave us a water salute as we left the port.

Since this was the first cruise we were expecting some problems and there were a few, but we were so fascinated by this huge ship that we didn't really care. We're sailing Oasis again this December and really looking forward to it.
