Caribbean Cruise 2012

Sail Date: October 20, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Huge! You will get lost if you think you're going in the right direction and you don't need to browse one of the many maps that you'll pass along the way. So much to do, in so little time. You'll never be bored.

Pros: Different dining venues\, comfortable stateroom\, shore excursions

Cons: Shows rescheduled with insufficient notice\, not enough time to check pictures

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Outstanding. Words alone can not describe. Eye catching artwork. Beautiful neighborhoods. First class all the way.
Food and Dining
Beyond outstanding! The attentive wait staff made it even more enjoyable\, as if that were even possible!
Cabin / Stateroom
Shower felt a little cramped at times and closet door had to be held open to avoid slamming during rough sees\, but the confident cruiser knows how to adapt and enjoy the time onboard!
Service and Staff
Above and beyond does not do the staff justice! Never did I pass a crew member in a hallway without being acknowledged in some way. I was totally blown away by the pampered attention I received at every turn.
When a show gets resheduled\, a passenger will not always be in his/her stateroom to see the message waiting on the TV\, until after the show is over and has already been missed.
Children's Programs
From what I saw of the childrens activities around the ship\, there were plenty of them\, and lots of happy faces. Whether it was in a childrens area of the ship\, or a group of children being led around the ship on some sort of activity\, with ample staff escort.
