Simply put, the RC Oasis of the Seas is a nautical engineering marvel! By far the roomiest ship out there, we never felt \"crowded\" the whole time we were on board. It dwarfed the 2 Carnival ships parked next to it in one of the ports we visited. Not surprising that it was the smoothest cruise we've ever had! The activities were fun and varied. The staff went out of their way to be courteous and caring. This was the best all-around cruise we've ever been on.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did not utilize any of the \"pay\" restaurants aboard ship\, though from what we have heard/read\, perhaps we should have. The \"included\" fare was always top notch\, and the service in ALL eating venues that we went to was fantastic. We had a server at dinner each night named Julieta that absolutely made the dining experience one to remember! Fantastic!

The Aqua Show\, Hairspray Theatre production\, Fly with Me\, and the Ice Skating Show were over the top amazing\, and are must-see's aboard ship. As mentioned in the \"cons\" above\, one night had a \"weak\" headliner that wasn't up to the level of entertainment as the other nights. The comedians were very good. Overall\, a truly great entertainment experience!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Nadine\, our room steward\, and Julieta\, our principle table server at dinner\, were fantastic! They really tried their best to be friendly and offer personalized service. The casino staff were also very friendly and engaged.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Oasis of the Seas was impeccably clean and easy to get around on. Elevator wait times were not that long\, and the ship's decor is second to none. The different \"neighborhoods\" aboard ship were all eye-popping and unique. Best layout of any ship we've been on. Very spacious\, especially for a cruise ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had an interior balcony stateroom on the back of the ship. Amazing ocean views behind the ship and of everything going on around us. Layout of the room was the best we've ever had\, and the bathroom was more manageable than we expected. Nice to have a shower that is self-enclosed and not just a curtained-off portion of the side of the bathroom!

Pros: Ship is an engineering marvel at sea; service was excellent; non-stop activities; most enjoyable cruise we've ever taken

Cons: One weak headliner on one night; excursion to Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins was not well planned and had too long of a bus ride

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!
