Very nice time overall

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

Overall, a very good experience, but you must know what you are getting into. A big boat means a lot of people, so privacy will not abound, unless you lock yourself in the room. Rooms were modern, nice and spacious for a boat. Crew was generally excellent, very polite and friendly. Activities on boat are plentiful, the shows are excellent. The pools for babies are very small and if yours is not potty trained you will be constrained to a small area in the pool...

Pros: Boat is new, rooms are nice, and crew work hard to please their guests. Quality of servers was excellent in main dining room, superior service for sure there!

Cons: A big boat means a lot of people, so not all 2000+ crew members were pleasant all of the time. Also, logistics are tough, at the beach in Labadee for the BBQ they did not have enough silverware for all guests, so better planning is needed. Also, showers also had shampoo, they should add conditione

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Great, modern, pretty spacious for a boat actually.
Food and Dining
Food in the main dining room was good, but not great. Meat quality was poor, seafood was very good. The service was excellent, I travel a lot and was never treated so well. Despite the 6000+ guests, they had enough servers to treat you excellently!
Service and Staff
Always helpful, saying hello each time you cross a crew member in a hallway for example. At times, you will find a bad apple from among the 2200 crew on board, but that is to be expected. Still, don't let that bother you, they do go out of their way to make it a very pleasant experience
You can get so busy with activities that you may not sleep if you do them all! Quality was very good, especially the shows.
Children's Programs
Did not use a whole lot, but you can borrow toys, etc.
