Oasis of the Seas - Awesome Ship!!!

Sail Date: November 05, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Very impressed with the ship & how friendly the staff was. Was also impressed with the dining room food & service.

Pros: Excellent Service - Very Friendly Staff, They waited on you hand & foot. Disembarkment - It took us only 10 minutes to get off the ship with the self-check out!

Cons: Did not like the buffet food & was too crowded with people running into you.We missed one of the excursions due to the time change & was not told of time change. There should have been more visable security on the ship. Some of the parents let their kids run wild & at times it got out of control.

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Mattress was very comfortable! Very clean room, but shower was so tiny, you couldn't move in it!
Ship Quality
We were very impressed w/the layout & size of the ship.
Food and Dining
Excellent food in the dining room. Did not like the buffet food & people were running into each other....too crowded!
Service and Staff
The stateroom attendent (Glenville) was Awesome!!! He waited on us from the time we woke up till the time we went to bed!!! Also, Awesome waiter (Jeffrey) & head waiter (Carla) in dining room!
Entertainment
Excellent shows.........like NYC Broadway Shows! However, the 1st night we had reservations for the comedy show & the attendent at the door wouldn't let us in & was very rude! We were still learning our way around the ship & we were a couple minutes late.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Orient Beach. The tour only took us there for 10 minutes. Not enough time.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
missed the excursion because no one told us of the time change. We called Cruises Only when we got back on the ship & they said they would refund us our money.
Don't Miss: Don't miss your excursion because the ship's time is different than St. Thomas time.
Nassau, Bahamas
Atlantis. But not enough time there.
Don't Miss: Atlantis
