A Disappointing Cruise

Sail Date: August 13, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Customers should be informed that if they do not make reservations for shows they will have to wait on another line until all reserved seats are filled (10 minutes before the show) to see if they can be allowed in. Hairspray show did not complete for the first 3 shows due to technological difficulties.

Pros: The Ship was fairly impressive

Cons: The rooms were smaller; the food was not very good;

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
I was very disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Dining room service was excellent.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom and balcony appeared smaller than other large ships; closet space was small and not easily accessible on both sides.
Service and Staff
Because of difficulty in getting in shows and trouble with shows it was not as pleasant as other cruises.
Ship Quality
The ship size was immense and clean - perhaps my expectations were too high.
Children's Programs
Grandson age 16 had a ball
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Scheduled a tour through the ship that was very, very unorganized. Megan Bay was beautiful once we got there.
Don't Miss: Megan Bay
Nassau, Bahamas

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
