A good cruise on the Bigest Boat

Sail Date: April 09, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

It looked big. There seemed thousands that entered. The layout and design was awsome. It never felt excesivly crowded. I have been on other ships that were not layed out as well. The only problem was that the specialty shops faced in towards the ship and not out to the ocean. Got to see the splash zone!!

Pros: The Boardwalk

Cons: The Cupcake shop

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!

Entertainment
Hairspray was as good or better than a Broadway show. Had problems with Up and Away. Wanted to see that. Mosaic was awsome, could have seen another ten sets by them. Great layout of theater and splash zone. Only complaint is that I would give about three inches more room on each chair and some row space front to back for walking. I have been in bigger theaters.
Ship Quality
Great layout, They worked so hard to keep it clean. The boarding process was hands down the best that we have ever been through!
Service and Staff
The dining hall staff were wonderful, the cabin steward was great. Didn't really bond with the cruise director's staff. They seemed flat and not that fun.
Cabin / Stateroom
We stayed low with no porthole. We don't spend the time in the room. If you want the balconys look so cool.
Food and Dining
Buffet needs some help. The food in the dining hall was twice the quality. The Chops returant is the best steak house on the sea!!!!
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The water was so blue, the beaches were so nice, smiling people. Had the most fun there
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Shopping! Need I say more
