Didn't want to get off the ship!!!

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was stunning! It was better than Mariner of the Seas but Mariner of the Seas was awesome and I didn't think it would be possible to go on a better ship. But it was and we didn't want to get off the ship. There was so much room and so much to do and so many places to check out.

Pros: size of the ship

Cons: where the bed was placed in the room. balcony room with bed next to closet instead of next to sliding doors

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Excellent!
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Park Cafe had excellent food, located on deck 8 Central Park. Fresh create your own salads, fresh sandwhiches, fruit salad, wraps, soups and more for lunch. Breakfast fajitas, create your own bagel sandwhiches, pannini's, cereal, fresh fruit, and more in the morning. Dining room was excellent and Chops Grille (also on Deck 8 Central Park) was amazing. Izumi, the Japanese restaurant, had Hot Rock and Hot Pot style meals where the food is served raw and cooked on a steaming rock or boiling pot of water at the table by the guest. Sushi was excellent and extremely inexpensive! Well worth the price. The Seafood Shack was also excellent. Huge amount of food at all restaurants. Service at all restaurants was timely and friendly. Quality of the food 5 star.
Cabin / Stateroom
Would only ask for one change. Prefered the layout where the bed was against the sliding doors not the closet. When the bed is against the closet it is harder to get into the closet.
