We went to Izumi twice. First was for the sushi side. Very good and fresh sushi. Great for vegetarians but you’ll need to order a lot to cover the $35 credit. We came back a second time for the hibachi. Fun show with no fire for safety reasons. Overall a great meal. Would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the meal package not covering the minimum meal.

We weren't sure what to expect but Izumis is a great hibachi restaurant on the ship. Our cook was funny and entertaining. The food was delicious. Definitely go here.

I really recommend doing the Sushi making class. My wife and I did it and it was amazing. They walk you through what you're going to make(3 different sushi rolls) and then you make it. The sushi chef and his assistant cut the rolls and make them look all fancy for you. They tasted as good as any other time I've had them.

If you enjoy sushi on a regular basis this is not your place. The sushi tasted like it was frozen, very bland. Our waiter did not try to connect with us at any point. Maybe the Teppanyaki side of the restaurant was better. Something strange was that we saw at least 3 to 4 different cooks from other restaurants bringing and moving food from the kitchen, it seems it was the only way to get to the supplies.

Great entertainment. Best fried rice I ever had. Steak and lobster not the greatest.

Sushi is eatable but not great, waitstaff not as friendly don’t expect much in the smiles department, however, the Hibachi side sounded like they were having a blast, should have went that way but was really wanting some sushi.
