Norwegian Wind Cruise Review to Hawaii
Sail Date: November 18, 2006
Ship: Norwegian Wind
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 10 years ago
Review SummaryWe booked an oceanview room and ended up with a tender in front of our window. We had a guy working there at night so forget about privacy ! The ship was ok but had limited restaurants and sometimes the service was quite slow. The drinks are too expensive ($10 for a smoothie!) Brought our own wine but had to pay $15 corkage fee for each bottle! The wine on board is around $40 / bottle and not very good at that price.
The shore excursions are not bad but you can find much cheaper once you get off the ship. The ship was retrofitted to stretch it. The pool was too small and the deck was always very windy. Not easy to have a lunch when food flies off the plate. Room service was nice and crew friendly.
