A Trip To Remember!

Sail Date: March 14, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very nice and comfortable. Not enough under cover seating while dining at the upper deck pizzeria. Ice cream bar needed more space to adequately operate.

Pros: The intinerary.

Cons: The ship did not have a theater or a casino.

Recommends Norwegian Wind (RETIRED)? Yes!

Food and Dining
The chefs went over and beyond to ensure we had the best food served.
Cabin / Stateroom
Would of liked a coffee pot in the stateroom. Also, an iron would of been nice.
Ship Quality
Ship is being decommissioned and sent to Asia. Is replaced by the Pride of Hawaii.
Service and Staff
Outstanding is an understatement!!!
Entertainment
Magnificent is what describes the shows that were presented.
Fanning Island, Kiribati
The cultural center tour was good, however, the native was hard to understand at times.
Lahaina, Maui
Loved everything about this port.
Don't Miss: The crater is a must see. Dine at Bubba's is a wonderful experience.
Hilo, Hawaii
Nawiliwili, Kauai
Disappointed that the Hollywood in Hawaii was cancelled. Rough seas got us into port late and a number of tours were cancelled due to time constraints. Nonetheless, I felt they could of shorten the tour by an hour or two and still have it. This tour was the one I wanted to go on most. I signed up for the Waimea Canyon tour in its place and was very happy. A MUST SEE! Considered the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. The driver JUAN was outstanding.
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
A very good time.
Don't Miss: The Parker Ranch.
