Great Cruise, Horrible ship.

Sail Date: October 18, 2006

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

It started out great and just when we were enjoying the Cruise and admiring the hospitality of the crew things started going wrong. First it was an Engine failure that reduced the speed and missed one island. Then next day the tender operation was slow and the next day a power failure. Thatz when we learned even the shower and toilet don't work when power goes off in a ship. The crew, esp those in the restaurant and the once taking care of your roam are great. But the ship failed us. This is our first time in a cruise. We will definitely go for some more cruise, but not this cruise line.

Pros: The crew and the fanning island

Cons: Engine failure, power failure, delayed tender operation.

Recommends Norwegian Wind (RETIRED)? No.

Ship Quality
Horrible ship. Engine failure, Power failure, Clueless engineers.
