We ate most of our meals at the Seven Seas Restaurant. Our first meal was there and we were a little concerned that it was too fancy but after awhile, we felt right at home. We would have to say that the Garden Restaurant was very congested and at times it was difficult to find a place to sit.

Took the bus from Anchorage to Seward. We wanted time to take some tours once we arrived. Bus driver was great at pointing out wildlife and talking about the area. Didn't feel like we missed out on anything by not taking the train. Seward has a great free shuttle!!

Do not take it for an Alaskan cruise, NCL Sun is too small. Heard good things about Princess and Celebrity ships in towns we visited from their passengers.

Bring Dramamine for the cruise. It's a great ship, but smaller than most cruise ships. As such, you definitely will feel the rocking of the waves, so I much appreciated having Dramamine with me so I could prevent seasickness.

We enjoyed spending the night in Vancouver prior to our trip. The port is right in the heart of the city so we walked from our hotel to the ship. You can bring sodas on board with you which we did because we grew tired of iced tea. Kids can get juice in the dining room for free.

The captain did a wonderful job in making sure everyone got good views of the glacier and the entertainment was awesome.

There is a buffet on the very back of the ship. It is usually not as crowded as the one inside. The sports bar on the port side of the ship is a nice place to sit relax and watch a game.

The manager in the observatory bar needs to listen to the staff and other customers before jumping on waiters back!!

This is a free style cruise. You don't have to bring a dress to save you luggage space and bring one less checked-in luggage for your flight. Very comfortable. I would be horrified to put on my tie every day as there are so much to do onshore and you don't want to waste your time dressing up.

Our cruise crew was outstanding, service, excellent, however we were very disappointed at the food that was served. Both in the buffet restaurant and the two other sit down restaurants complimentary with our cruise, The Seven Seas and Four Seasons. We expected seafood at least one day on the ship

Le Bistro is wonderful, food service and ambiance. We would definitely recommend. Moderno has great food, but DO NOT fill up on the salad bar, lots of meats to choose from. Warning!! The salad bar area seating is directly under the basketball court and the noise is terrible, constant banging.

Several time changes. Call and get a wake up call so that you are never worried about having the correct time. NCL has "Freestyle" dining. Hardly anyone dressed up any night and only once did they even suggest it. Takes the "Special" feel away. Be open to shared dining, makes cruise more fun.

Find out what time bars/lounges/restaurants close on the last night. Everything shut down very early, leaving us wanting.
