Review summary

This was our first short cruise on NCL on one of the smaller ships. For it to be a smaller ship and for us to have some rough weather, I noticed very little movement or noise from the ship. We had an inside cabin (0101) which was very roomy. Our cabin Steward, Bryan, was very attentive, but not overly friendly. There was a very overwhelming smell of urine from the bathroom for the duration of our trip that I’m sure was due to plumbing and most likely unavoidable. The dining in the MDR’s was superb, but I found it to be extremely slow for the small number of diners. We preferred dining at the outdoor buffet because it was less crowded for breakfast. We also discovered a pizza and pasta buffet that was complimentary inside Moderno for lunch. It was excellent. I did miss the delicious hash browns that are always on the buffets on NCL. The sports bar was a nice option for a late night snack. The drinks were easy to obtain and because it was all inclusive, you didn’t have to scan your card, which was nice. They had a line system instead of having to belly up to the bar at the pool bar to wait for a drink. I rarely saw service poolside, but that is typical with what I’ve experienced with NCL. I guess that comes with having such an attractive drink package. We only saw one show, Rock You Tonight, which was outstanding, but not well advertised. We had a difficult time using the App, free internet package that we got and did not see the shows listed in the dailies. The ports were ok. I had been to Nassau, so we did a Catamaran Snorkeling excursion. In Freeport, we just shopped and had a few overpriced drinks At Senor Frogs. Overall, I enjoyed my cruise, but I would definitely not recommend it for families. There were a lot of Bachelorette/Bachelor parties and frat bros on board which was somewhat annoying

I look forward to one of the smaller NCL cruises like this, primarily because it will hit 3 places I want to go (Nassau, Great Stirrup, and sometimes Key West). I'll definately steer clear of the frat ruckus. 🍹👍😁

I was on the same cruise and agree, that there was a lack of service poolside and in the main dining rooms. Service and friendliness was also lacking in those areas. We were sick of the frat boys around the ship too, but enjoyed the women who were serving drinks in the Champagne Lounge.
