Room Type: Inside

This was our second trip with NCl, while our experience was better than the first it was still underwhelming. Staff is not upbeat and excited but rather stoic but very professional. Food quality was good in dining rooms, buffet was generally only lukewarm and often had limited selections that were repeated daily. Our first NCL ship had far superior entertainment! This was a longer cruise and they seemed to lack some imagination and programs appeared recycled. Comedian and Hypnotist were very entertaining and initial dance program was great. Ship was clean and room was superb, very roomy. But it was in need of a redock for some upgrades. Excellent ports and many quality excursions to choose from.

cellent ports and many quality excursions to choose from.

Cabin / Stateroom
We chose to have the guaranteed inside stateroom, made us a lil nervous but we were extremely pleased with our room. It was the most spacious stateroom we have been in thus far. It was situated around the corner and backing to the Atrium glass elevators on the 9th floor. It was a very central location and we never heard the elevator or any noise really. Very pleased!

Tip

Several time changes. Call and get a wake up call so that you are never worried about having the correct time. NCL has "Freestyle" dining. Hardly anyone dressed up any night and only once did they even suggest it. Takes the "Special" feel away. Be open to shared dining, makes cruise more fun.
