A great trip overall

Sail Date: October 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Very clean but worn. No seating was comfortable anywhere\, especially in the showroom. Broken down and no back support. Ship has no power at head of bed for a C-pap machine so we were lent a heavy duty extension cord which laid across our cabin walkway the entire 11 days. A true tripping hazard. The bed was hard as a rock\, very painful.

Pros: Crew was very friendly

Cons: The bed was rock hard and caused back pain the whole trip

Recommends Norwegian Sun? No.

The entertainment was very very good\, no complaints. The singers and dancers did 3 full routines with incredible choreography. Still amazed they remember all the routines! The other entertainment was also great.
Service and Staff
Cruise directors\, cooks\, wait staff and stateroom attendants\, even the photographers were all very pleasant and made you feel special.
Cabin / Stateroom
No power near head of bed\, bed was a rock\,and the tv programming was sad\, at best. Not enough plugs to charge phones\, iPads\, camera and still use rechargeable razor Nd curling iron.
Food and Dining
Dining room food was average but not what one used to be served in the dining room on a cruise a few years ago.
Ship Quality
All public areas were clean but most areas has chairs that are uncomfortable.
