Review summary
The staff of course was great. Room steward Francis wonderful. Things we didn't like were more related to Norwegian and the ship practices. For example if you don't bring your beach towels with you from the room you had to sign a sheet and give a $25.00 deposit. You could not get extra towels from the towel hut even if you brought your towels. 2 only. The smoke from the casino would spill out into the Atrium. Especially bad on full sea days. Since you had to go through the casino to reach dining etc...you would really stink you up your clothes. As a non smoker I found this offensive. Same with the smoking in the one corner of the pool deck. As soon as you came through the door on that side it was a mouthful of smoke or the bar at the rear of the ship. Seemed like I was always running into smoke somewhere. Food was ok in the free dining rooms but not overly great. I found their website less user friendly than say Princess Cruises. Many links were not operating. Couldn't reserve spa times. It stated no entertainment online yet we had 2 comedian's. The stops were good if you had never been there. Overall we enjoyed the cruise just didn't feel as elegant as previous cruises on the Ruby Princess. We will look for a newer ship next time and probably Princess again.

Ship tip
stick to the free dining rooms. Why pay to eat when food is free. Had Prime Rib and salmon both excellent.
