This trip was worth the time but I feel it was a bit expensive for what was received with the ship.  I probably just am spoiled from being on The Getaway last year but this ship (Sun) was quite disappointing after that experience.  The ports were what made the trip worth it with 4 ports included instead of just 3.  As for The Sun, the buffet was sad compared (in every way) to the Getaway as with the on ship entertainment and the ship overall.  Granted it it an older ship however the carpets seemed to always be wet (fans on them by staff), the food cold or very limited and the stateroom bathroom had a constant sewage smell.

Buffet was limited compared to larger ships and seemed to be cold most of the time. Dining room staff would have been better if they understood a bit more English...

Very limited compared to larger ships

Service and Staff

Stateroom steward was great however other staff was so so just because of a certain language barrier

Ship Quality

Old ship. Wet carpets constantly and sewage smell from stateroom bathroom

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was OK overall however a constant sewer and moldy smell from the bathroom was an issue as well as a tight squeeze between one of the beds and the closet shelf.

Ship Tip

If you are all about just the ports than this is the ship for you however if you like more of a ship experience than you should by far go with a newer larger ship.

Take a taxi from the airport for a set $25 fee rather than cruise transfers that are a per person cost of at least $20 each

Cave Tubing through CruisesOnly was great with guides Keith/David. The same excursion booked through Norwegian was much shorter in length and was more expensive.

Excursion booked through CruisesOnly for Konkunlich Ruins was great - there was only one other couple and my friend and I - it was like our own personal tour. They even included a packed lunch that hadn't been listed.

The Amazing Secret River Excursion is a must!
