We recently returned from our cruise out of Tampa to Roatan, Belize, and Mexico.  We were on the Norwegian Sun.  The ship was small.  We felt the movement of the ship more than we had on larger ships.  However, the ship was small and that made it easier to keep track of everyone.  The crew was amazing!  They had a very positive attitude.  The entertainment was okay.  The comedian and El Gaucho were funny.  We REALLY enjoyed the crew talent show.  The food was okay.  We have been on Carnival; we expected a Norwegian ship would be a better experience.  That wasn't the case.  The food on Carnival was better and the entertainment was equal.

You can tell the Sun is an older ship

Tampa, Florida
The port was very easy to access and the staff were very friendly, willing to help.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras
We booked a beach day through Bananarama on-line. It was great.
Belize City, Belize
We chose the Laminai excursion. I am glad that we did this through the ship because of the legnth. It was worth it.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Rent a gold cart to go to Mahahual.
Cozumel, Mexico

Tip

Crepes are available every evening. Try them with ice-cream in the middle.
Also, after debarkation, use the porters when they offer to pick up your luggage. There is a secret, porter only line. It saved us 30+ minutes waiting in line. It was worth the tip for the porter.
