We have cruised on Carnival, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, all of which had designated early or late dining. On the Norwegian Sun they had freestyle dining so we were able to choice our own time for dinner. We traveled with two other couples and ate dinner based on the activities during the day. We ate at 5:30 one evening, with the our latest dining time being 7:00 which till gave us time to make the 9 o'clock theatre show. Dress for dinner was more casual then we had experienced on any of the other cruises, which we all liked. I believe the Norwegian Sun overall was a more enjoyable and relaxed cruise. Our next cruise will probably be an Alaska cruise, Norwegian Cruise Lines will probably be our first choice.

El Gaucho was spectaulary, would go to see his show again. The cruise singers and dancers put on two excellent shows. The 2nd show we saw featured rock and roll which was lively and upbeat all the way through.

We rented a van and the six of us got a tour of the island. We saw a lot of poverty.

The women in our little group stayed on board and had a spa day while we three men went ashore. We did some shopping, bought my wife a necklace, she loved it.

Did some more shopping then took a horse and carriage ride for a tour of the city. Bought a picture of us in the carriage.
