Embarkation was quick and uneventful. We were able to access our cabins by 1:30pm. We left Port Canaveral and followed the Florida coast on our way to Cozumel. The ship docks at the Punta Langosta pier which is convenient to shopping the front street. The next stop was at Georgetown Grand Cayman where boats are used to shuttle people to town and back. We took the Discover Grand Cayman tour which takes tourists to Hell where you can send yourself a letter from the post office in Hell. The other stops on this tour are the turtle farm where you can hold turtles for pictures, and a rum cake factory outlet. The ship next stopped at Ocho Rios, Jamaica and tied up to an industrial pier. The walk from the pier to town(3 blocks) was a gauntlet of people selling everything that you can imagine which turned out to be even worse on the way back to the ship. Take a tour of any kind to try to avoid the guantlet in Ocho Rios. We then traveled to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas which is their island. The shuttle service was excellant and the food service on the island was greatly improved since our last visit. NCL has spend a lot of money on this island and it shows. We then returned to Port Canaveral where the transportation system servicing terminal 5 is totally disfunctional. We left the ship early using the walk off with your luggage option and wasted more than 1.5 hours in the transportation system trying to get to our rental car company.
