Not just for the Sun but Speciality Restaurants (with added fees) are crowding out the standard restaurants that are free. It appears to be the plan by all cruise companies for all ships. I believe that is the reason for the over-crowding in the buffets most of the times.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Se above comments on speciality restaurants. I like Free Style dining but dislike being so crowded that there are no tables to sit at. This is especially true for a cool climate cruise where outdoor dining is not as desireable.

Pros: The ports of call and specifically St. Petersburg and Berlin (despite the long bus ride).

Cons: The buffet was poor\, lacks sufficient space for the number of people especially on port days.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!
