Unbelievable Alaska weather!

Sail Date: May 31, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was very comfortable, although the heating/AC was sometimes a little off, especially in the Observation Lounge. It would often be really cold in one area.

Pros: Food and entertainment

Cons: Same menu as other NCL ships. Same menu in speciality restaurants all week.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!

Juneau, Alaska
Some of the same shops as Ketchikan, with an interesting fly fishing shop next to a quilt shop.
Ketchikan, Alaska
Nice stores with two really nice quilt shops!
Skagway, Alaska
Nice, western town, with wooden sidewalks.
Don't Miss: Bus trip to Yukon, then train back down the mountain.
