My husband and I were on the August 3-10th cruise. Before we left, I had read a lot of the reviews on this website and was apprehensive about going on this cruise line. Many people sounded quite dissatisfied with their cruise but we found the experience to be much more than we ever expected. The embarkation was a little slow but not unbearable. We had an inside cabin on the 9th (Fjord) deck. It was a decent sized cabin and the room stewardesses were great. They were very friendly and quite our room very neat. There was a lot of good entertainment on board - shows not to be missed. Jane Powell was excellent and Roger Hernandez on the piano was very good. We also enjoyed the crew, especially Bingo Bruce and Rich Clesen. The pool area was too crowded and people saved deck chairs, but you could just go up a floor and there was always room (just not poolside). We ate at the Garden Cafe quite a bit. The food at the Four Seasons restaurant was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive and helpful. East Meets West was okay. We had heard that Le Bistro is supposed to be very good but we were not able to make reservations early enough to go. We swam with the stingrays in Grand Cayman. Wonderful experience - highly recommend doing this excursion. Make sure to go the Tortuga Rum store there also. Next, we did the Kayak and Snorkel in Roatan. Also, very fun and the guides were great. Bring bug repellent on the kayak part of the trip. In Belize was the Jungle Walk and Cave Tubing excursion. We got bit by bugs on the walk and the tubing part was interesting. There are some very strong currents in some parts of that tour. Lastly, in Cozumel, we did the Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party. Also would highly recommend this one. Seen a lot of fish while snorkeling and the beach was beautiful. Very relaxing. If we could do it again (I hope someday), we would take some time at the ports to just relax at the beaches and enjoy the scenery. We were on the go at every port and didn't take the time to sit back and relax. Playa del Sol beach in Cozumel, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman or Tabyana Beach in Roatan all sounded nice to visit. Also, we would pay the extra charge to see all of the specialty restaurants. The food and service are supposed to be quite good. The disembarkation process was terrific. We were in the first group to leave the ship with no delay. Bring underwater cameras and bug spray with you. All in all, it was a fantastic cruise and hope to cruise with them again in the future!
