The ship wasn't anything spectacular compared to other cruise lines we've been on. Service was horrible from the night we got on board to the morning we left. Even complaints to the on-board management staff didn't get much of a response. Crew seemed tired and overworked - and hardly willing to accommodate or please any passenger - except for when it cost money (the bar waiters never leave you alone). Additional costs for "free style dining" in the specialty restaurants was a joke. Food wasn't any better than in the dining room and service was even worse! I'd opt for a dining room meal any night over specialty restaurants that you have to pay $10-$30 a person for. There was no 24 hour food buffet or restaurant like on other ships - and the cafe food (brreakfast thru dinner) was the SAME every single day. The excursions were ok - but the "private island" port stop was ridiculous and over-crowded with no lounge chairs to accommodate the amount of people there. Daily entertainment was sub-par. The ONLY plus to this ship and cruise line was the inside state rooms were actually bigger than any we've had before with great closet space.
Food and Dining

Restaurant variety seemed great at first but then the cover charges and hard-to-get reservations were frustrating, when the service was exceptionally POOR in these special restaurants. For a special birthday meal for 6, we spent the dinner at the Steak House - and it took an hour to get our food, then each person was only served ONE spear of asparagus with their meal! You are suppose to receive two whole side dishes but they felt it was just easier to split one dish amongst 6 people I guess. Even a complaint to the Maitre'd didn't get any better results. Our steaks were all prepared wrong and had to go back, resulting in another 45 minute wait. The dining room service was better and food seemed better as well... as long as you didn't eat too late, then the servers actually were prompt. But forget getting your water glass refilled - or even filled to begin with! Our table waited 20 minutes just to receive water countless times.

Gym classes (yoga, etc) were poor and unorganized and still cost $10 a person. The entertainment was poor from what we saw. And the poolside band wasn't your fun typical steel drum band - it was base guitar and keyboards. Basically a lot of NOISE that you couldn't even talk over if you were sitting anywhere in the pool vicinity. The base was so loud we could hear it in our stateroom!
Service and Staff

There was no willingness to help or be available for needs by this staff. You could hardly find someone when you needed them - but there was AMPLE waitstaff poolside wanting to sell you a drink or $5 bottle of water.

Ship seemed fairly clean. Decor was sub-par, seemed a bit dated. Layout was confusing and not easy flowing for the amount of people on board.
Cabin / Stateroom

The only good thing about this ship was the stateroom was larger than expected and there was ample storage and closet space. The linens were nice and service was great.
Pros: Itinerary for this ship was great, that was the only reason we chose it
Cons: The service on this ship was HORRIBLE. Food wasn't anything special, and the ship was small and crowded.
