beware of norwegian cruise lines

ive been a platinum member with norwegian for several years now, and USED to enjoy having a nice quiet and stress free breakfast and lunch in the vip dining room. When i went to use that dining room on this trip, i was told that the platinum members were NO LONGER WELCOME in that dining room.
They state the reason is because they cannot accomodate the guests staying in the suites AND their highest level platinum members. Its ALWAYS been my experience that the vip dining area was never more than half full, Since they feel the need to treat me like a first time customer, I will be using another cruise line on my next voyage.
The food on the general dining area was average at best as well. Hamburgers and hotdogs were the main staples of cuisine.. Just like what you would get on a carnival ship., I guess since norwegian was bought out by some asian company, they feel that money is more important than keeping customers, so I will vote with MY money and sail with someone else in the future

Pros: freestyle dinine

Cons: taking away platinum members access to the VIP dining room

Recommends Norwegian Sun? No.

Entertainment
no real entertainment on this ship, so you might as well go to bed in the evening, unless you like sitting in a room being entertained by some comedian who is NOT funny
Food and Dining
If you are a platinum member, you are NO LONGER welcome in the vip dining room for breakfast and lunch, so be prepared to fight for a table, and stand in long lines to get a hotdog for lunch, and some powdered eggs for breakfast, Thanks for thinking about us platinum members norwegian, guess its time to jump ship and try another cruiseline
Service and Staff
i had SEVERAL events at the general dining where what i ordered and what i got was completely different. I think the sun is their training ship where they put their least experience crew
Skagway, Alaska

Don't Miss: take the BUS tour up to the yukon and skip the train ride. Ive done both and the bus tour is MUCH better
