Norwegian Sun Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: February 16, 2008
Ship: Norwegian Sun
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Review SummaryFrom the time we boarded on the first day until we dis-embarked, the whole experience was excellent. The cruise staff were very friendly and courteous. Not even a hent of unfriendliness from the cruse staff. The food was delicious and many choices of restaurants and styles of food made the eating experiences well beyond our expectations. Lots of activities every day. Be aware that the crusse staff likes to sell you "extras", which could run up a big bill. There is also a $10.00 per day "service charge" to cover tips added to your account. I didn't have a problem with this, as we didn't have to worry about tipping anyone. I would recommend this ship and crew.

Don't Miss: I didn't heare of any complaints of the excursions, so what ever fits your desires should be chosen.
Don't Miss: Myan Ruins were a treat.
Pros: Good food, I love the free-style concept, Every crusie employee went "overboard" to meet all our needs and expectations
Cons: Three of our four stops involved tendering from an offshore anchoring to the pier. It takes much longer to get to shore with that method and is not very convenient.
