From the time we boarded on the first day until we dis-embarked, the whole experience was excellent. The cruise staff were very friendly and courteous. Not even a hent of unfriendliness from the cruse staff. The food was delicious and many choices of restaurants and styles of food made the eating experiences well beyond our expectations. Lots of activities every day. Be aware that the crusse staff likes to sell you "extras", which could run up a big bill. There is also a $10.00 per day "service charge" to cover tips added to your account. I didn't have a problem with this, as we didn't have to worry about tipping anyone. I would recommend this ship and crew.

Pros: Good food, I love the free-style concept, Every crusie employee went "overboard" to meet all our needs and expectations

Cons: Three of our four stops involved tendering from an offshore anchoring to the pier. It takes much longer to get to shore with that method and is not very convenient.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!

Cozumel, Mexico
This island is more developed and a bit more affluent. The merchants on the beach road were too agressive for me, but once you got a block or two from that area, it was a very pleasant visit.
Belize City, Belize
Got a late start on the 7 hour excursion, so we had no time to shop for tourist junk. Otherwise, the visit was exciting. This country is also economically depressed, but the locals are a very proud people and enjoy showing off their country.
Don't Miss: Myan Ruins were a treat.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
A great day on the beach. It was a great way to wrap up our cruses
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Locals were friendly. The island is a "poor" island of hard workers. The excursion was a tour of the island and allowed us to see the true picture of the area, which is economically depressed, however the locals were freindly and seemed happy
Don't Miss: I didn't heare of any complaints of the excursions, so what ever fits your desires should be chosen.
