We had such a wonderful time on the Norwegian Sun in Sept 2006. We took the cruise to the Alaska Inside Passage. It was for our 4th wedding anniversary and we could not have chosen a better trip. The room was great and quite. Our steward was outstanding. The restaurants were very good, especially the East meets West Steak house. It is the most elegant meal I have ever had and the steak was melt in your mouth good. Our good friends that cruise often said they preferred the freestyle cruising, and we were so glad that we had taken their advise. I don't think I could cruise any other lines that do not offer freestyle after experiencing Norwegian. The staff was so very professional and took care of everything that we needed. Even a piece of luggage left at the airport.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great restaurants. We preferred them over the buffet, but when time was tight, we did eat at the buffet.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We took an excurstion in each port. We were very pleased with each one, expecially the two whale watching tours that we took.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was outstanding. Our steward, Mariano, was the best.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were so impressed with the condition of the ship right down to our great balcony room.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
very comfortable

Pros: Great balcony room, wonderful food, sooooo many things.......

Cons: Standing in line on the deck waiting for all the late arrivals to show up for the safety lesson. They should not make us wait an extra 45 min waiting for someone that doesn't show up.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? Yes!
