Ship was in poor shape (paint peeling, sloppy service (both dinner & room). First time we had to write the NCL people and raise serious complaints with personel. New Orleans was a great location for a home port.

Food and Dining

1st nite was lobster unlike most cruises and we missed it due to annoying problems.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

Miss-info by crew was most annoying.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

We had problems with faulty drawers, broken coffee pot, and missing info book. first two were finally attended to the 6th day of cruise.

Pros: Entertainment was above average--The exercise and athletic equipment top shelf---Food good

Cons: After 7 cruises this was our only dissappointing one. Service was well below the usual standards. On-shore excursions were another sad case. Missinformation from onboard personel made things difficult. Lastly, getting off ship in New Orleans with their "express debarkation was a dismal joke. Bad.

Recommends Norwegian Sun? No.
