Review Summary

As a first time cruiser my initial impression was very good. Our group had never been on a cruise before. We all found it very relaxing.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Quality of food was excellent though wish that there were more complimentary restaurants with each having a different menu. Dining times were very good though would have enjoyed more complimentary restaurants open for breakfast and lunch. More snack options would have been preferred. Nachos with salsa\, ice cream\, and complimentary drinks.

Would have enjoyed more activities: bigger pools\, more pingpong tables(only had one but always being used).

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Restaurant staff were always so accomodating\, and friendly. Any special requests for meals were met and service was excellent. They always made us feel special.

Ship Quality

Smaller ship. Layout seemed fine. Always neat/clean. Decor a little outdated.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had balcony and was laid out very well. There were three in room and found it very comfortable with good storage. Always neat and tidy and maid service was great...awesome that also came in evening and turned down bed. Room service though was not great as process was to put card on door before 4am(which I did twice) but card was not picked up. I had to phone at which tray was sent up at time requested.

Pros: Service provided by staff on cruise. Dining was awesome

Cons: Minimum complimentary dining & variety of menus(sometimes both restaurants served same dishes). Also activities limited(Only one ping pong table:always being used\, swimming pool small)

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!
